BURLINGTON, Vt. — Burlington, Vermont, police say two Milton men have been arrested and charged in connection with a series of gunshots fired at an apartment building.

A mother and child were sleeping in the apartment unit that was hit by the gunfire in the early morning hours of Oct. 26 on Burlington’s Riverside Avenue. There were no injuries.

Burlington police said Monday that on Friday officers arrested 18-year-old Rowan Baek and 20-year-old Joshua Carr.

Police say Baek fired a 9mm handgun at the apartment. He was charged with aggravated assault and other offenses. He’s being held for lack of $25,000 bail.

Carr was charged with being an accessory after the fact and he was released.

It’s unclear if the two men have attorneys.
