Columbus Regional Health’s Cancer Center has started a new support group for cancer patients and survivors.
The group, Circle of Strength, began in the fall and meets 4 to 5:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month. It provides an opportunity for patients and survivors to come together to share feelings, experiences and challenges.
Participants can learn about coping tactics and explore ways to improve quality of life during or after treatment. The group will explore therapeutic activities, such as art therapy and yoga.
