Police have closed the northbound lanes of I-65 at mile marker 90 in Johnson County for a serious accident which happened at about 3:45 p.m. today.
Traffic is beginning to back up in the I-65 northbound lanes into Shelby County and police may close the interstate at mile marker 80 if necessary.
Some slowing and backups on I-65 are being reported in Bartholomew County in the northbound lanes.
