Trinity Lutheran rallies to get around Austin

SEYMOUR — Class A No. 7 Trinity Lutheran trailed by 17-14 at halftime Tuesday before rallying for a 43-31 win against Austin.

Piper Acton led the Cougars (10-1) with 10 points.

South Decatur falls despite early lead

KNIGHTSTOWN — South Decatur led by three points early in the fourth quarter Monday night, but Knightstown rallied for a 56-41 win.

Madison Owens led the Cougars (1-11) with 11 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Taylor Best added nine points.

Cougars defeated in back-and-forth game

MADISON — In a game that featured 15 lead changes and eight ties, South Decatur had a chance to tie in the closing seconds Tuesday, but missed, and Madison Shawe hit two free throws with 1.9 seconds left to pull out a 56-52 victory.

Matt Cornett scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Cougars (0-6). Jacob Watts scored 15 points on five 3-pointers, and Brandon Benge added 11 points.
