Jenny’s Picks – December 14

1) I love meeting animals of all kinds, and I look forward to making some new and interesting friends at the Winter Festival of Exotic Animals, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays at the Zoo’Opolis Exotic Petting Zoo, 12696 W. County Road 50S, Columbus. Visitors can hold, cuddle, feed and play with more than 35 different species including foxes, macaws, miniature ponies, prairie dogs, skunks, rabbits, raccoons, bengal cats, lorikeets, baby muntjac deer, wallabies and coatimundis. 2) Get an eye-full of art at the Development Services Inc. Art Show 6 p.m. Tuesday at Mill Race Center, 900 Lindsey St., Columbus. Artwork includes paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, pottery, fabric art, abstract and wearable art. Select items on display will also be available for purchase through silent auction. All proceeds from items sold will directly benefit the individuals who created the pieces.
