Jeanette E. Phillips

Jeanette E. Phillips passed away December 15, 2017 at Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Jeanette leaves behind a daughter, Ellen L. Norfrey of Columbus; granddaughter, Krystil L. Norfrey of Columbus; son-in-law, Jerry L. Norfrey of Columbus.

Jeanette was born in Cleveland, Ohio January 29, 1937 to Ethel and Harry Acker. She was later adopted by her step-father, Edwin Beardsley. She graduated from Chardon High School in Chardon, Ohio in 1956. She married Bruce White (deceased) and had two children, Andrew White (passed on January 27, 2012) and Ellen Norfrey. She married Charles O. Phillips (deceased) and moved to Indiana early in the 1970’s.

After years of health issues and the passing of many friends and loved ones, Jeanette has been patiently waiting to fulfill her promise to join them all in praise in heaven. Her patience has paid off and we will honor her wishes with a small remembrance service Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to service time Wednesday. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and inurnment will be private at a later date.
