COLUMBUS
Judith K. Hunter, 61, of Columbus, passed on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 4:15 p.m. at her residence.
Judith enjoyed reading, was a big Chicago Cubs fan and, during her younger years, Judith enjoyed being in plays.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver, & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Ervin French officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
In keeping with Ms. Hunter’s wishes, cremation will follow and burial will take place at a later date at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Judith was born on June 4, 1956 in Franklin, Indiana, the daughter of Harold T. and June S. Frazier Hunter.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Smith of New Albany; Siblings, Gerald Hunter, Eric (Donna) Hunter, Sylvia Hunter, Valerie Nuby, Steven Hunter, Robert Hunter, and Stacy Hunter; and two grandchildren, Leyla Brantley and Zyvier Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Hunter; and a Brother-in-law, Joseph Nuby.
