HUSON, Mont. — A fire has destroyed a popular western Montana restaurant.

Authorities say the fire at the Nine Mile House located off Highway 10 near the town of Huson began around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officials do not believe anyone was inside at the time.

But Mel Holtz of the Frenchtown Fire Department tells KECI-TV that the building is a complete loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
