Sylva honored at retirement reception
The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. recently recognized a top administrator who is retiring at the end of the year.
A retirement reception was held Dec. 11 for Vaughn Sylva, assistant superintendent for business services, at Columbus East High School.
Sylva has been employed by BCSC since 2002 and worked at the Fayette County School Corp. for six years as director finance and taught math for 10 years at Brown County High School.
