APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. — Authorities say three people are dead and two others injured after a car crash in Apache Junction.

Apache Junction Fire Department officials say at least one person was ejected from a car and another person required extrication after the two-car accident Wednesday night.

More than 30 fire personnel responded to the scene.

Authorities say the cause of the crash is unclear and remains under investigation.

The names of the dead and injured haven’t been released yet.
