Herbert and Bonita Allman of Nashville are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Allman and his wife, the former Bonita Lentz, were married Dec. 12, 1947, at First Christian Church in Columbus by the Rev. T.K. Smith.
He is retired from Bell Telephone.
She is a homemaker.
They have five children, Marilyn Nelson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Debra Hatfield, Jim Allman, Janet McPherson and Katherine Runyon of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
