Mrs. Karen Fleetwood, 57, of Seymour, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017, at home with her family by her side. She was born on December 3, 1960, in Seymour, to the late Edward and Kathe (Hulsmann) Finnerty. She was a graduate of Jennings County High School before earning her Bachelor’s in Accounting from Indiana University and Master’s in Business Administration from Butler University. She held her CPA license and was an employee of Cummins for 25 years. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She was also a member of IMA~Institute of Management Accountants. She loved working with her flowers and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her children, Jarod Fleetwood and Lauren Fleetwood; sister, Corinne (Don Lee) Finnerty; and beloved in-laws, Gene and Mary Fleetwood.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Mass will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 27, at 11 am with Father Dan Staublin officiating and assisted by Deacon Mike East. Burial will follow at Vallonia Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday from 4-8 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until time of service. A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday at 3:45 pm.
