Free legal service offered at United Way event

Legal Aid, a nonprofit that provides free civil legal services, will host a clinic from 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 15 and Feb. 26 at the Legal Aid office in the United Way Center, 1531 13th St., Suite G330, Columbus.

Local volunteer attorneys will offer free, 10-minute consultations to low-income individuals. Individuals are served on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration is not required.

Other planned Legal Aid clinics are 3 to 5 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Brown County Public Library, 205 Locust Lane, Nashville, and at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.
