Goodwill stores are expecting a surge in donations this week as customers look to make last-minute donations to claim on their 2017 income taxes, the company said.
Goodwill has stores on the east and west sides of Columbus, at 980 Creekview Drive (pictured) and 55 Carr Hill Road.
Holiday hours for this weekend ahead of the Dec. 31 tax-deduction deadline:
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Patrons who wait until the final day must drop off their donations by 5 p.m. to receive a donation receipt. Goodwill will have additional employees on hand to assist with the anticipated surge in donations.
