Pence Christmas

A holiday break from Washington, D.C., that began in Columbus on Saturday has taken Vice President Mike Pence and second lady Karen Pence to Colorado, according to published reports.

The Pences’ motorcade contributed to traffic delays Tuesday in the Colorado community of Eagle, north of Aspen, the Aspen Times reported. Flight plans filed with two local airports suggested that the Pence party might stay in Colorado through New Year’s Day, the newspaper said.

Air Force 2, which normally transports the vice president, a native of Columbus, took off from Columbus Municipal Airport at 11:26 a.m. Tuesday.
