BOULDER, Colo. — Sophia Elenga scored 17 points on near-perfect shooting and Arizona State clobbered Colorado 72-47 in a Pac-12 Conference opener Friday night, giving coach Charli Turner Thorne win number 450.

Elenga shot 7 of 8 from the field and 3 of 4 at the foul line for Arizona State (10-3). Jamie Ruden added 16 points and Courtney Ekmark 13 for the Sun Devils, who have won four of their last five, not allowing an opponent to reach 50 points in the four wins.
