LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A 22-year-old Everett man was fatally shot during an argument over a vehicle east of Martha Lake.

The Everett Daily Herald reports that police were searching for at least three suspects.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says a group of people had gathered at about 9 p.m. Saturday to look for a Honda Pilot that hadn’t been returned to its owner.

It arrived soon after and a shot was fired during an altercation.

An Everett man was struck and died.

Three suspects, two men and a woman, drove away in a Honda, which is now reported stolen.

Their ages and physical descriptions were not immediately available.
