SEYMOUR
Francis Earl Moore, 83, of Seymour, died at 7:15 a.m. Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hope.
Francis was born May 29, 1934, in Bartholomew County, Indiana, the son of Lonnie and Rachel Henderson Moore.
Mr. Moore was a loving gentleman. He enjoyed fun-size candy, Diet Coke, bingo and loved his family.
He is survived by his nieces, Lela (Ronald) Browning of Scottsburg, Teresa (Douglas) Essex and Susan Watson, both of Hope, and Lori Anderson of North Vernon; nephews, Clinton Moore of Columbus, Lonnie (Jenni) Moore of North Vernon and Michael (Donna) Harden of Hope; many great-nieces and nephews and many great-great-nieces and nephews.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Susan Marie Moore; brothers, Alvin and Don Moore; niece, Patricia Burnly; and great-nephew, Billy Watson.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Ed Cottrell officiating. Family and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
