EDINBURGH
Kimberly C. “Kimbo” Mead, 54, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away December 28, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. She was born February 28, 1963, in Shelbyville, Indiana. She was the daughter of Vearl P. and Maxine K. (Abbott) Phelps. She married Bryan Mead on November 27, 1982.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Casey Mead of Edinburgh, Indiana, Jason (Laura) Mead of Greenwood, Indiana, Cody Mead of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Ethan Mead of Edinburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Carter Whited, Colt Mead and Cooper Mead; and a brother, Brian Phelps of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a 1981 graduate of Edinburgh High School. She was employed at Pridgeon and Clay of Franklin, Indiana.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted on January 6, 2018, at 3:00 p.m, by the Reverend Terry England at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from noon until time of service.
