ATHENS, Greece — Defending champion Olympiakos enjoyed a strong second half to beat host Larissa 3-0 Sunday in the Greek league.

With the team’s third coach this season, Oscar Garcia, watching from the stands, Olympiakos scored three times on the break — Marko Marin in the 54th minute, Karim Ansarifard (68th) and Uros Durdevic (89th).

Olympiakos fired Takis Lemonis on Friday despite the coach having helped his team regain the league lead after a rough start.

Olympiakos moved a point ahead of both AEK and PAOK, who had big wins on Saturday. AEK beat Panetolikos 4-1, and PAOK thrashed Levadiakos 5-0.

Former powerhouse Panathinaikos beat last-place Platanias 2-0 Sunday to climb to ninth, Xanthi won 1-0 at Lamia and Giannena vs. Asteras ended 0-0.
