BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 17-year-old who pleaded guilty in connection to the shooting death of one teen and the wounding of another has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Erie County District Attorney John Flynn announced the sentencing of Lawren Goins of Buffalo on Tuesday.

Goins pleaded guilty in November to manslaughter and attempted murder.

Prosecutors say Goins shot the two other teens in October 2016. They were all 16 years old at the time. The gunfire killed Kristian Piazza and wounded Terrell Locket.
