WATERTOWN, S.D. — A Watertown man has been arrested and charged in a fatal shooting.

Police say 30-year-old Donald Herron is charged with first-degree manslaughter and reckless discharge of a firearm in the early Friday death of 30-year-old Seth Murray.

Police allege Herron was playing around with a handgun in a residence about 3:30 a.m. when it fired, fatally shooting Murray in the head.

Herron was being held in lieu of $100,000 bond. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.
