BRIDGEWATER, Maine — Police said a 911 call from a Maine home led to the discovery of a body, and eventually, to an arrest on a murder charge.

Police say 37-year-old James Peaslee, of Easton, Maine, was arrested at about 1 a.m. Thursday. It wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer.

They said a 911 call came just before 6 p.m. Wednesday from the Bridgewater home of 79-year-old Paul Hilenski. Police responded and found Hilsenski’s body.

Peaslee was arrested while driving in Easton.

Police said they would be searching Hilenski and Peaslee’s homes. An autopsy was planned for Hilenski.
