KINGSTON, OHIO
Teresa Ruth Goins, 69, of Kingston, Ohio, formerly of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life at 1:25 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Teresa was born May 22, 1948, in Bartholomew County, Indiana, the daughter of Frank Goins and Betty Shimkus. She was a resident of Columbus, Indiana for several years, but spent many of her short years residing in Florida and most recently in Chillicothe, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Eric Lowman; and her sister, Joy Goins.
She is survived by her son, Rufus F. Lowman Jr. of Kingston, Ohio; her grandchildren, Samantha Lowman and Thomas Lowman; two great-grandchildren, Jaidyn Machado and Orlando Arocena; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Steve Yeaton officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
