Soup, Stew, Jesus and You, the annual First Christian Church fundraiser to support its youth activities is 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 28 at 108 E. Walnut St. in downtown North Vernon.
This year’s event will help fund a four-day youth service project in Jennings county called MISSION-JC.
“We hope the community will join us for a terrific time of food and fun. Everyone is welcome,” said Angee Leeds, First Christian Church youth director.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $1 each. The tickets will be used to purchase food and soft drinks during the event.
Food selections will include chili, French onion soup, chicken noodle soup, venison stew, potato soup, vegetable soup, pasta, pizza and desserts. A variety of beverages will also be available.
