GLENDALE, Ariz. — Police in Glendale have identified a man who was fatally shot outside a sports bar and say they’re still searching for the shooter.

They say the victim of the shooting early Sunday was 48-year-old Julian Hackett.

Police received a 911 call around 2:35 a.m. that a man had been shot, possibly several times.

Officers arrived on the scene and found Hackett, who sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Glendale Fire Department paramedics treated the man and transported him to a hospital.

They say Hackett later died of his injuries.

Police say witnesses reported seeing a man approach Hackett and shoot him multiple times before fleeing the scene.
