BALTIMORE — Police say one man has died following a double shooting on a Baltimore street.

Baltimore police said in a statement that officers responding to a report of a shooting Sunday found a 27-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.

Preliminary investigation found that two suspects parked their car near the victims, who were waiting at a traffic light, then exited the car and fired on the victims. Police say the victims attempted to drive away, and crashed.

The man died at Shock Trauma. The woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Neither victim has been identified.

The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. No identifying details have been released.
