SIMPSON COUNTY, Miss. — A Mississippi couple has been killed in a house fire.

WAPT-TV quotes firefighters as saying the bodies of Martha Hamilton and her husband Raymond Hamilton were found early Monday morning.

Several of the couple’s pets also died in the fire.

Simpson County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Chris Wallace says there are no signs of foul play, but an investigation into the fire’s cause is ongoing.
