MONACO — High jump world champion Mariya Lasitskene is among 18 Russians that have been cleared to compete internationally in time for the world indoor track championships.

The IAAF renewed permission for the 18 Russians, all of whom competed last year as neutral athletes because Russia has been suspended for doping.

Also on the list is Danil Lysenko, who won silver at last year’s world championships, and former European pole vault champion Anzhelika Sidorova.

The IAAF says it has received 80 applications from Russians and is still working through them, with priority for athletes who want to compete at the March 1-4 world indoors in Britain.

One notable absentee from Thursday’s list is former world 110-meter hurdles champion Sergei Shubenkov, though it isn’t clear whether he intends to race in March.
