SEATTLE — King County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warrant for the arrest of a man suspected of fatally shooting two men just south of Seattle in White Center.

The sheriff’s office says 26-year-old Merle ‘Chucky’ Buchanan is wanted on two counts of murder in the deaths of 51-year-old Jose Angel Garcia and 45-year-old Paul Victor Tapia outside Club Taradise in the early morning hours of Jan. 6.

The sheriff’s office says Buchanan is 5 foot 9 inches, 195 pounds, and should be considered armed and dangerous. Buchanan is known to frequent Burien, Renton, and Seattle. Detectives believe he is still in the area.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911, or anonymously call Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
