Seymour-based arts center is seeking entries for a three-week photography exhibit that it will host next month.
The exhibit, “In Love With Photography: A Celebration of Pictures,” is scheduled for Feb. 10 to 28 at the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts, 2001 N. Ewing St. in Seymour.
A reception for the exhibit will be 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 15, with refreshments and an opportunity to meet the photographers.
Photographers may each bring three framed/matted photographs for display. Photographs may be any style, with any camera, and any size up to poster-size. Photographs should be of good taste and appropriate for any age to view.
Photographers may sell their work; each photograph may be marked with a selling price. The photographer will receive 70 percent of the profit from items sold, and the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will receive 30 percent plus tax. Photographers can expect to receive their earnings within three weeks of the close of the exhibit.
Photographs may be dropped off at the arts center from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 3, noon to 5 p.m. Feb. 7 and 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 9, or by appointment.
All photographs should be picked up from the arts center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 3, or noon to 5 p.m. March 7.
