One aspect of a healthy community is when its residents are engaged in education, local government and other civic matters that impact their lives and the lives of their children. A recent snapshot of such events shows that local residents are quite willing to be engaged. They attended public meetings discussing landlord registration, the state of education, state legislative priorities and a proposed dog-breeding operation. Here’s another look.
