BALTIMORE — Two men have been charged in the shooting death of a 13-year-old girl.

Authorities say Iyanna Watkins of Middle River was shot multiple times during a July shooting attack at a convenience store that also wounded two men.

The Baltimore Sun reports that Alphonso Smith III and Roger Eastmond Jr. have been charged with killing the 13-year-old girl. They are being held without bail in a Baltimore County lockup.

Investigators believe the deadly attack occurred following a fight between Smith and a friend of Iyanna’s. Smith allegedly left the area after the dispute and returned with Eastmond. Police say they fired gunshots into a group standing by a 7-Eleven store.

There were no lawyers for the two suspects listed in online court records.
