CONCORD, N.H. — New Hampshire’s Fish and Game Department will hold a hearing next month to adopt public boat access rules.

The proposed rules add new definitions of terms and a listing of department-controlled boat access areas. They will also include standards and restrictions regulating the use of boat access areas; procedures to get special permits; and permission to erect memorials.

The hearing at the Concord headquarters is scheduled for the evening of Feb. 20. Current rules are scheduled to expire Feb. 25, but will remain in force until the new ones are approved.
