ATLANTA — Police have found the body of a woman on a busy Atlanta road.

Atlanta police Lt. Carven Tyus tells WXIA-TV that it’s unclear whether the dead woman found early Monday morning was hit by a car or if she fell off the overpass above Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at Anderson Avenue.

Investigators are canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance cameras.

The woman has not been identified.
