CRESCENT, Iowa — Authorities have released the name of a man killed after a tractor he was driving crashed off a gravel road in western Iowa.

The crash occurred around 5 p.m. Saturday, a little over a mile and a half (3 kilometers) east of Crescent. The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office says the driver became trapped when the tractor overturned and caught fire after running off the road. The driver’s body was recovered after a tow truck lifted and removed the tractor wreckage.

The Sheriff’s Office identified the driver Monday as 40-year-old Brian Louison, who lived in rural Council Bluffs.
