ST. LOUIS — St. Louis police are asking for the public’s help after burnt human remains were found in a trash bin.

Police on Monday said the case has been ruled a homicide after an autopsy. Anyone with information is urged to call CrimeStoppers.

The remains were found Friday after officers were called to the trash bin. The city medical examiner’s office says it was unable to determine the age and race of the victim.
