Local teams compete in Special Olympics event
Special Olympics BBJ (Bartholomew Brown Jennings) hosted the Hauser Fieldhouse Basketball Invitational for Special Olympics on Saturday, with three local teams participating.
The BBJ Pirates 3v3 men’s team lost to the Clark-Floyd County Bulldogs 14-12 and beat the Monroe County Bobcats 14-1. The BBJ Great Dames 3v3 women’s team beat Lawrence County Lady Stardust 26-8 and lost to the Shelby Shooters 18-10.
The BBJ Lakers Level 3 men’s 5v5 team fell to the Johnson County Fury 38-24 and the Clark-Floyd County Warriors 42-28.
