Mildred Cravens

Mildred Cravens, 76, of Columbus, formerly of Edinburgh, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Brown County Health and Living Community in Nashville, Indiana.

She was born November 25, 1941 in Russell Springs, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Milford and Edith (Harness) Vaught.

She married Leon Cravens on December 26, 1957 and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2012.

She is survived by a son, Jeff (Lori) Cravens of Columbus; grandchildren, Brandon Cravens, Preston Case and Cole Cravens; a sister, Elsie (Kenneth) Bailey of Edinburgh; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She was a member of the Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh.

She had worked at Roviar, Columbus Sports Ware, and Eagle Group as a seamstress.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and helping out at the church.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 by the Rev. Lewis Burton at Who-So-Ever-Will- Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
