ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Authorities say a section of Interstate 40 in Albuquerque is closed because someone is threatening to jump off an overpass.

Albuquerque police say the eastbound lanes between Carlisle and Wyoming have been shut down since noon Sunday.

They say the unidentified person is threatening to jump at the Louisiana overpass and crisis intervention officers are at the scene.
