LINCOLN, Del. — Delaware State Police say two 14-year-olds have been arrested in connection with several burglaries.
State police said in a news release that troopers were dispatched to a burglary complaint Tuesday.
Police say forced entry was made and the residence was extensively ransacked. They say several items were stolen, including electronics and purses.
Police say the suspects were identified and detained. Their backpacks contained stolen jewelry and other associated property from the reported burglaries.
Police say consent was granted to search a residence where one of the teenagers lives. Several electronics and other suspected property were seized.
Police say the teenagers were charged with theft and other offenses.
