Tech talk: Leveraging internet for business

An executive from LHP Engineering Solutions and Purdue Polytechnic Columbus will offer a Tech Talk on how companies are leveraging new technologies to drive better business results.

The speaker will be Michael King, LHP president of data analytics and the Internet of Things.

King’s talk, “The Business Value of the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT),” will be at 6 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Columbus Learning Center auditorium and is open to the public. Free tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis by visiting purdue.edu/columbus. A meet-and-greet is planned after the speech.

King is responsible for implementing large-scale advanced analytics and IoT solutions, self-service business analytics, big data and more for LHP Engineering Solutions. Prior to joining LHP, King was director of enterprise business analytics for Cummins, Inc. He also spent nearly 18 years at Boeing, where he held leadership roles in finance, manufacturing and supply chain.
