UNION, N.J. — Authorities say an SUV went into a New Jersey home following a crash, seriously injuring six people in the SUV.

The accident in Union occurred around 7:15 a.m. Friday.

Authorities say the SUV and a car attempting to make a left turn collided. The SUV then struck two other vehicles before it hit the front of the home.

The six injured people — including some children — were being treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries that were described as serious but not life-threatening.

Two people inside the home were not hurt, but they have been forced from the home because it sustained serious damage and is temporarily uninhabitable.

No charges have been filed so far, but authorities say the accident remains under investigation.
