LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas police are looking for a suspect in two attempted child kidnappings that occurred within minutes of each other.

According to witnesses, a man had attempted to force a 6-year-old girl into a car on Tuesday evening.

Ten minutes later, a witness saw a man approach a 7-year-old girl at a playground and attempt to take her.

Police say in both cases, neighbors or family stepped in when they heard the little girls’ screams.

Police describe the suspect as a white or Hispanic man between 18 and 20 years old with a medium build and a tattoo on the right side of his neck.

He was driving a red, four-door sedan with silver trim around the windows.

He was last seen wearing grey shoes, grey sweatpants and a grey hoodie.
