Boy Scouts deliver popcorn to military

Indiana National Guard members at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh recently received Boy Scout popcorn product valued at more than $35,000.

During the Boy Scouts’ annual popcorn sale last year, Scouts in central Indiana sold military certificates and accepted donations from the public. Those funds allowed $35,520 worth of the snack to be given to military members.

The delivery was made early Sunday evening by leaders of the Hoosier Trails Council and members of Columbus-based Troop 557, who also met and greeted the military members.
