COLUMBUS
Nellie “Nell” M. Cole, 95, of Columbus, died at 6:20 P.M. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
She was of the Christian Faith and loved bingo, shopping, and traveling. She had worked as a bookkeeper.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Monday at Barkes, Weaver, & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rev. J. Kirby Rupp officiating.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to time of service.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Nellie was born on August 28, 1922 in Columbus, the daughter of Clyde and Agnes Edwards Tabor.
On November 15, 1941 she married Rex E. Cole; he preceded her in death on July 9, 1993.
Survivors include her children, Nancy L. (Mike) Hill of Hope and Mark A. Cole of Indianapolis; Grandchildren, Lisa Mullins McDaniel, Niles Cole, Sarah Halter, Mary Hauser, Michael Hill; and great-grandchildren, Devin Hill, Braydon Hill, Rex Cole, and Gordon Cole.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a daughter, Susan E. Rogerson.
