FORT COLLINS, Colo. — An adult and a child are dead after a head-on crash in northern Colorado.

Police say the adult’s 2005 Pontiac Vibe sedan crossed over the center turn lane and collided with a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck heading in the opposite direction on Sunday in Fort Collins.

The adult died at the scene. Two children in the sedan were taken to the hospital with serious injuries and one of them later died.

The 42-year-old driver of the truck suffered moderate injuries.
