Faurecia Clean Mobility has changed the name of its Columbus Tech Center in to Clean Mobility Crossroads. This rebranding is a continuation of Faurecia’s focus on Smart Life On Board and Sustainable Mobility, the company said.

The new name was unveiled during a celebration event in Columbus and live-streamed to more than 20 locations in North America, including Canada, the United State, and Mexico.

The research and development center is located on the Faurecia campus in Walesboro along West 450 South.

Clean Mobility Crossroads is a reflection of Faurecia’s commitment to clean innovation and future mobility, the company said.

“Faurecia is transforming the way it does business,” said Hadi Awada, president of Faurecia Clean Mobility North America. “We are changing behavior and culture.

“We are no longer a company that just makes exhaust systems. We are a technology company,” Awada said.

Faurecia provides clean mobility solutions for all types of powertrains and is expanding its digital services to play a leading role in the zero-emissions mobility of the future.

Faurecia is one of the world’s largest automotive equipment suppliers, with three key Business Groups: Seating, Interiors and Clean Mobility. Faurecia employs 100,000 workers in 34 countries at 330 sites and 30 research and development centers.
