COLUMBUS
Roberta Jane “Berty” Satterfield, 75, of 16th Street, died at 10:20 a.m. February 13, 2018, at her home.
Roberta was born May 15, 1942, in Crawford County, Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Velma Gay Brown Froman.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Doran Chambers officiating. Calling will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.
Survivors include her sons, Philip Satterfield, Roger (Jenny Baltus) Satterfield and Bryan (Kathy) Satterfield, all of Columbus; brothers include her twin Robert Froman of Milltown, Indiana, and Clifford Froman of Eckerty, Indiana; sister, Rosetta Dyer of Palmyra, Indiana; grandchildren, Kasia Nicole Satterfield, Shanon Satterfield, Brandi Konradi, Misty Satterfield, Mindy Satterfield, Joshua Satterfield, Kayla Cheek, Levi Satterfield, Brandi Adams and Tracy Toddy; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Cecil and Clayton Froman and sisters, Genevia Miller and Anna Lou Harding.
