2 AirPark leases gain approval

Construction could begin soon on a medical office and two state government office buildings on the Columbus AirPark campus.

The Columbus Board of Aviation Commissioners on Tuesday unanimously approved two leases for the projects, which are expected to get underway this spring, said Brian Payne, Columbus Municipal Airport director.

The board approved a lease with M4 Properties LLC of Versailles so it can build a 17,000-square-foot building at the corner of Ray Boll Boulevard and Poshard Drive.

The building, to be located on 3.15 acres, will house two government offices, Payne said. The lease will begin June 1 and continue for 20 years with two options to renew the lease for 10-year periods, according to the agreement. Bryan Miller, a representative for M4 Properties, could not be reached to provide details on the proposed project.

A separate lease with NSP Realty also was approved Tuesday.

Northside Pediatrics plans to build a medical office building off Central Avenue on 1.53 acres that would be accessed by Vickers Drive. The lease would continue for 20 years and include three options to renew for 10 additional years, according to the agreement.
